Hesse Design / Brands 1989 - 2009

For 20 years, Christine and Klaus Hesse have been working in Düsseldorf and Berlin to develop brands for institutions and companies. Their work has shaped the look of, among others, Audi, Bewag, Bosch, Dekra, Kieler Woche, Landeshauptstadt Düsseldorf, Swarovski and Welterbe Mittelrhein. In addition to designing major and minor brand names and logos, Hesse Design also creates many award winning communication concepts that have won multiple awards, concepts provide a living example of an independent identity.

For Hesse, developing identity is not a matter of marketing mechanisms or plastic surgery. Rather, it is a programme of continuing education for corporate culture. For the first time, Hesse Design will be presenting a selection of its work to the general public in the historic exhibition space located at Ritterstraße 11 in Düsseldorf. In this townhouse constructed in 1698, Hesse will be showing more than 100 exhibits, films and animations over a 300 m² area. Exhibition 1. bis 9.
